Lightbound Studios is a small indie game development studio located in sunny Los Angeles, CA. It houses 3 bright individuals with 29 years of combined game industry experience.
History
The studio was founded in August 2014 by Artak Avakyan, a long-time video game developer who was responsible for many memorable cinematic moments in the God of War franchise. Artak worked on number of acclaimed AAA titles such as Medal Of Honor: European Assault, True Crime: New York City, God of War 2, 3, and Ascension. In June 2014 Artak left his position as Lead Cinematic Animator at Santa Monica Studio to create his first solo mobile game for his 8 year old son titled Star Chasers. Thus, Lightbound Studios was born.
After launching Star Chasers, Artak partnered with co-founder Young Choi in 2017 and together they set out to make a new exciting VR game called Titan Arena.
